Following on from last weeks post, it seemed only right to start this blog off with Sunday's souvenir of the day - Cruella de Vil's dream lampshade. Sunday started off with a long lie followed by an amazing brunch at The Rusty Rabbit - scrambled eggs & bacon and Craig definitely couldn't say no to the side of halloumi! We were lining our stomachs as we had tickets for the Craft Drinks Market where we got to sample some amazing local beers, gins and wines - the perfect way to spend a Sunday! Craig's favourite was the Double Dark Red beer from Six String Brewing Co. whilst Katy was big fan of the newly released savoury gin from Dad & Dave's Brewing.

On Sunday we decided to have a lazy morning however, as it was a lovely day and with no jobs likely to be posted, we decided to head out and got the 12:30 ferry from Wharf 3 at Circular Quay to Manly.
Leaving behind our luxurious Airbnb, we headed to the hostel, YHA Coffs Harbour where we were checked in by the lovely Brett. Whilst checking in, he asked us what we were doing in Coffs Harbour and when we told him we were there for the blueberry picking we were met with a sharp inhale of breath (it probably sounded more dramatic than it was) and asked "Who are you working for?" When we told him he very reassuringly said "Never heard of them - tell you what I'll just get you to pay for one of the two weeks you've booked just now in case it doesn't work out, eh?" And with that, we realised that maybe Coffs Harbour maybe wasn't going to go to plan after all.
